A recognized food and hospitality industry leader, Bob is known for creating and recreating award-winning, profit-generating restaurants and hospitality spaces.
With a stellar reputation, Bob’s extensive experience in operations, strategic solutions, marketing, and financial analysis has led to a lengthy menu of successful, one-of-a kind restaurants. Prior to Ovation, Bob was responsible for developing properties for some of the most well regarded industry leading companies in the U.S. He was President & CEO of Pat Kuleto Restaurants and President of Piatti Restaurant Group and Real American Restaurants. He was President of Gordon Biersch Brewing Company and successfully engineered the sale to an investor group in Las Vegas, NV. He has partnered with numerous celebrity chefs including the famed Chef Michael Chiarello to take successful restaurant concepts to new markets.
Bob’s career includes a leadership role at Robertson Stephen Investment Banking where he increased the firm’s presence in the retail food and beverage sector. At Westminster Holdings he successfully managed a diverse portfolio of companies including restaurants and hotels.
Clients come to Bob, typically through word-of-mouth, but more recently through social media, not only for his knowledge and track record but for his approachable, genuine, engaging style. His passion, dedication, and commitment are evident with each new project.
Bob is currently Chairman of the Board for Guide Dogs for the Blind. He is an avid skier and enjoys traveling and biking, when he is not indulging in restaurant design and culinary adventures.
